25 Small Boats Seized in Major Blow to Channel Smuggling Gangs

25 small boats seized at East Midlands Airport. Enough to carry up to 1,700 people across the Channel.

That’s 25 boats that won’t reach the criminal gangs putting lives at risk.

This summer saw the lowest number of small boat arrivals since 2020, while arrests for immigration crime are up 74% on last year.

We’re disrupting the gangs’ supply lines, bearing down on dangerous crossings and restoring control of our borders.
