A NATIONAL CARE SERVICE. FREE PERSONAL CARE. A STATE PENSION THAT NEVER GOES DOWN

Support when needed, security always.
This is a landmark moment for our country.
A National Care Service would be one of the biggest changes to our public services in generations, on the scale of the NHS. It would give older people free personal care based on need, not ability to pay.
It takes a bold Labour Government to take on a challenge that has been left unresolved for far too long and set out a plan to build a care service people can rely on.
The State Pension Triple Lock will stay in place until April 2030. After that, pensions will rise by at least inflation or 2.5% each year, with extra protection to keep pace with earnings. No one’s pension will ever go down.
This is about dignity, security and hope in every part of our country.
