A promise delivered. Redcar residents can now access essential banking services on the high street.
🚨 REDCAR’S NEW BANKING HUB IS NOW OPEN 🚨
I was delighted to visit the new Redcar Banking Hub today as it officially opened its doors to the local community.
A promise made, a promise delivered. We promised to deliver 350 Banking Hubs across the country, and I’m really pleased that Redcar’s is now up and running.
The staff were incredibly welcoming, and I’m grateful to everyone who has worked so hard to make this happen.
Located at 13 High Street East, the Hub provides essential everyday banking services, including:
👉 Cash withdrawals and deposits for personal and business banking
👉 Balance enquiries
👉 Bill payments
👉 Cheque deposits
👉 Change-giving services for small businesses
Community Bankers from participating banks will also be available on dedicated days, giving residents access to more specialist face-to-face support.
This is a really important investment for Redcar, helping protect access to cash and ensuring residents can still get the support they need on the high street.
The official launch event will take place on Friday 9 October at 11am at the Banking Hub.
