£4.8 Million Additional Funding

Great news for Redcar & Cleveland Council and our communities, with the Government confirming £4.8 million in additional funding for our area.

This funding will support the transformation of high-cost services, including SEND, adult social care and children’s social care. These services place additional strain on the council, so this investment will help improve outcomes for residents while supporting the council’s long-term financial sustainability.

I will continue making sure the needs of the whole of Redcar & Cleveland are understood at the highest levels of Government, and that our area gets the support it needs.
