REDCAR & CLEVELAND GETS A YOUNG FUTURES HUB!

More Support for Young People Locally!
Redcar & Cleveland is set to receive a Young Futures Hub for 10 to 18-year-olds (up to 25 for those with SEND), giving young people a dedicated front door to the support they need.
Every young person deserves the very best start in life, wherever they live.
I’ve worked closely with Luke Myer MP - Middlesbrough South & East Cleveland, Cllr Alec Brown 4 Kirkleatham and our Labour council to make the case for this investment and ensure Redcar & Cleveland gets the support it deserves.
The hub will help ensure the right support is available at the right time, alongside sports, creative activities and trusted youth workers, mental health support, skills and training, routes into employment, and crime prevention..
We already have so many brilliant community groups and volunteers doing incredible work with young people. I saw that first-hand during my recent visit to Grangetown amateur boxing club, where volunteers are making a real difference to young people and the wider community.
It will be fantastic to link the Young Futures Hub with the brilliant work already happening across our area.
This is a great investment from our Labour Government in our community and our young people.
What would you like to see included? Let me know and please share this with local families, young people and organisations.
