2026-09-11
Honouring the lives lost, those affected, and the bravery of the emergency responders on the 25th anniversary of 9/11.
Today marks 25 years since the attacks of September 11th, 2001. Nearly 3,000 people lost their lives that day, and countless more were forever changed.
Here in Redcar and Cleveland, our thoughts are with everyone affected, including those with family and friends connected to that day. We also remember the extraordinary bravery of the emergency responders who ran towards danger to save others.
We will never forget.
